What you see here is victory
snatched from the jaws of disaster.
During the night there was a wind squall.
Notice that the parapets of Dauphinais Castle
are still slightly askew.
When we arrived that morning
they were on the ground.
Valliant Sir Dave (seen above)
and other valiant Lions,
(I think that's Dennis in the blue shirt.)
raised the walls again in short order
so the show could go on.
Huzza!

You have to understand. This is exciting!
The first year I did this Faire
we had 500 people the whole weekend.
Now they're waiting in line to enter.
(But not long!)

One of the reasons this Faire is so wonderful.
We have at least as much fun as you do!
Here is Charlotte Dore of Rosalita's Puppets
charming me, (I'm behind the camera.),
His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen
The Valiant Sir Dave
and even the Doughty Scotsman Dennis Perrone!
Come by this August. You'll love us!
